Tip of the Day
Don't underestimate (or perhaps overestimate, in this case) how low the ceilings can be in Japan. Castles... houses... trains... they're all hazards. The older the building, the higher the chances of you ending up with a bump.

Tuesday, March 18 Day Trip to Gyeongju City Full day visiting the remnants of the ancient Silla Dynasty Return to Busan, South Korea
Wednesday, March 19 Take morning high speed ferry to Fukuoka, Japan Train to Kumamoto, visit castle, then leave Train to Nagasaki, Japan
Thursday, March 20 Half day in Nagasaki Visit volcanic Mt Aso Train to Beppu, Japan
Friday, March 21 Morning in Beppu Train to Hiroshima, Japan Julie leaves Steven and Phil in the afternoon to head home
Saturday, March 22 Visit Hiroshima Peace Park and Miyajima Train to Nara, Japan
Sunday, March 23 Visit Todaiji and Ninja Castle Train to Kyoto, Japan
Monday,March 24 Full day in Kyoto exploring Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu Temple, and Ryoanji Train to Hakone, Japan *note: Julie moves
Tuesday, March 25 See Mount Fuji train to Tokyo - Harajuku, Shibuya
Wednesday, March 26 Tokyo - EdoTokyo Museum Disneysea
Thursday, March 27 Phil and Steven fly from Tokyo back to Chicago, USA
